EIFFEL Projects takes on Afsluitdijk multiproject
- EIFFEL Projects

EIFFEL Projects has reached a new milestone with the assignment for project management of the Afsluitdijk multiproject. Rijkswaterstaat is strengthening and renovating the Afsluitdijk with, among other things, the renovation and reinforcement of existing discharge structures, the expansion and renovation of the Vlieter Monument, and the replacement of bridges at Den Oever and Kornwerderzand.
A project with major impact
With these activities, Rijkswaterstaat works toward the safety, accessibility, and sustainability of the Netherlands. The future-proof measures provide robust solutions for climate change. The Afsluitdijk, designed nearly 100 years ago by civil engineer Cornelis Lely, remains a crucial link for water safety and is also an ecological connection zone.
Our contribution to the multiproject
EIFFEL Projects is responsible for a broad range of project management tasks: from scope and change management to risk management, planning management, capacity planning, and quality assurance. Additionally, we provide progress reports and deliver management and accountability information.
