EIFFEL Grows Significantly with Palladio AcquisitionEIFFEL Grows Significantly with Palladio Acquisition

EIFFEL, advisor and problem solver with 600 professionals in legal, finance and technology, has acquired Palladio. Palladio is market leader in integrated project control for clients such as Rijkswaterstaat, provinces, municipalities, water boards and ProRail. They are involved in projects including the SAA road program (Schiphol-Amsterdam-Almere), the A24 Blankenburg connection and the Flood Protection Program that strengthens dikes, locks and pumping stations.

Growth Opportunities

"2020 is obviously a special year, but we are running at full capacity and continue to grow," says Meppelink. "We collaborate with our clients and respond quickly to opportunities and challenges—that is especially valuable right now."

Thomas Meijer, managing director of Palladio, adds: "The government is investing billions in maintaining and renewing infrastructure. This offers huge opportunities for better accessibility, livability and economic growth. With the combined expertise of EIFFEL and Palladio, we want to play a key role in this."

I think it's wonderful that with Palladio we are building further on shaping the Netherlands. Together we can mean even more to our clients by broadening and deepening our expertise.

Gert-Jan Meppelink - CEO EIFFEL

Strong in Legal, Finance and Now Also in Project Control

Albert Kraak, founder of Palladio: "EIFFEL is market leader in legal services and strong in finance. That aligns perfectly with our expertise. Finance and legal are essential for integrated control of large projects. Our 100 professionals are becoming part of the EIFFEL community, where soon more than 700 professionals will share knowledge and collaborate." This step creates a powerful organization with more than 300 clients in sectors including government, healthcare, energy, industry and banking.

From Capacity to Results

Meppelink: "Results-driven work is becoming increasingly important. We don't just provide interim consultants, we also take on complete assignments. With our 'Legal Office' concept, for example, we manage the legal work of organizations. For many clients, legal support is not a core activity, but it is essential. Albert and Mariëlle Kraak have developed the same philosophy for infrastructure projects: they take complete project management off clients' hands."

Powerful Brand and Community

The news was shared virtually with the 700 professionals from EIFFEL and Palladio. Thomas Meijer: "I have come to know EIFFEL as a powerful brand and community. For our people, this offers great opportunities to expand their experience with large, complex government projects." Pieter van den Hoogenband, partner at EIFFEL, also expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration.
