Team EIFFEL appoints Frank van Es as Managing Director Engineering & Projects

After 5 years as director at TwynstraGudde, Frank van Es is making the move to Team EIFFEL effective July 1, 2025. At the ambitious consultancy and project firm, Van Es will lead the business line Engineering & Projects, which houses the engineering firms CLAFIS and Wepro and the project management firms EIFFEL Projects and Primaned Projectadvies.
Match on ambitions
CEO Gert-Jan Meppelink is proud of the arrival of 41-year-old Van Es: "With 16 years at TwynstraGudde behind him, Frank has built up extensive knowledge and experience in the markets where we're active with EIFFEL Projects, PrimanedProjectadvies, CLAFIS, and Wepro. Technology, new industries, accessibility and mobility, livability and area development, water safety, the energy transition. That rich background, combined with the match we see on ambitions and potential, provides an excellent foundation to further expand our impact on these themes."
Working toward a future-proof Netherlands
Van Es looks forward to his new challenge: "After so many wonderful years at TwynstraGudde, where I started as a junior Safety advisor and gradually became senior, partner, and ultimately managing director, Team EIFFEL feels like a logical and great step. The ambition, growth potential, and sports mentality appeal to me greatly: there's a lot of room here to expand the service offering in Engineering & Projects in the coming years. Working toward a future-proof Netherlands is a wonderful mission."
Frank van Es is, in addition to his director role, chairman of the supervisory board of the Dutch Design Foundation and member of the supervisory board of Braventure, a supporter and financier of startups. At EIFFEL Projects, he succeeds former Heijmans CFO Mark van den Biggelaar, who led the project management firm on an interim basis for over a year.
