Team EIFFEL strengthens its market position in engineering with acquisition of Wepro

Strong market position

CEO Gert-Jan Meppelink sees Team EIFFEL's market position in engineering continuing to grow. "Last year, we took a major step in the engineering world with the arrival of CLAFIS, where we have significant growth ambitions. That's why I'm extra proud that with Wepro's arrival, we're once again strengthening our technical expertise and becoming a major player, with around 700 engineers on board."

Igor Bömer, director of Wepro who remains active in this role after the acquisition, also sees many opportunities: "With the companies under the Team EIFFEL flag, we can tackle large technical projects in a broader scope. This will deliver a lot for Wepro and Team EIFFEL. We can work complementarily and leverage each other's network and technical knowledge to ultimately offer broad solutions to the market."

Meppelink continues: "Wepro and CLAFIS approach the engineering profession differently, but we were specifically looking for that complementary service offering. Both companies will therefore continue to exist alongside each other."
