Team EIFFEL Strengthens Public Services with Thorbecke Acquisition

Team EIFFEL is significantly expanding its services in the public domain. Advisory firm Thorbecke is joining the country's largest player in projects, consultancy and interim management. With this step, Team EIFFEL adds more than 140 advisors and specialists in areas including data management, property valuations, information management and zoning compensation.
A Strong Addition
Michel te Riele becomes responsible for Thorbecke as Director Local Government. He sees the Zwolle-based firm as a valuable addition: "Thorbecke works on sustainable solutions in areas such as property tax valuations, real estate appraisals, zoning compensation, taxes, spatial planning and the Environment Act. Especially now, these are highly relevant topics. Their services fit perfectly with our mission: guiding local governments in building the Netherlands of the future."
Growth and Continuity
According to Leijn de Wolf and Piter Holwerda, outgoing managing director and commercial director at Thorbecke, this step comes at the right time. Holwerda: "In over 22 years, we have built Thorbecke into an organization of more than 140 loyal advisors and specialists. There is a solid foundation to build on. In Team EIFFEL, we found a partner who can strengthen and grow that."

Future-Proof
Leijn de Wolf and Piter Holwerda will remain involved for 4 more months for a smooth transition. The entire management team is moving to Team EIFFEL, and the Thorbecke name will also continue to exist.
